Maplecove Shelties is situated in the beautiful Brandywine Valley of Delaware on an acre just minutes from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Baltimore, Maryland. We have been active in showing dogs for the past ten years and are a member of both the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Greater Baltimore, as well as the Interstate Shetland Sheepdog Club. Our dogs are specialty winners and have proven themselves in the show ring, whelping box, and as lovable family companions.

We keep our numbers small and house around four dogs in order to give them the attention they deserve. They are house dogs first and foremost, and can be found hogging the couch or bed on a regular basis. Each litter of sheltie puppies is carefully planned and we perform all the proper health tests such as hips, eyes and thyroid before breeding. As a responsible breeder, we abide by the standard set forth by the American Shetland Sheepdog Association in hopes of producing beautiful dogs of sound structure and stable temperaments.
